Microsoft launches collaborative research

Using the "Search" to Internet Explorer, each user has the opportunity to instantly share the results of their search with accounts invited to the session. Searches are then stored by the plugin, which can thus provide a history of visited pages on a deferred basis, for members of the research team if absent. All users also have the opportunity to write comments on the quality Web pages visited, small reviews are subject to a simple voting system (Digg-style) by other users. Except for possible changes, SearchTogether should be available for download during the late spring of 2008.

During the appointment of TechFest, the head of the Microsoft Research presented two other projects aimed at improving the quality of online searches for users.
